Get involved with the sail or relax and enjoy refreshments as you take in the stunning sights of Narragansett Bay. After raising sails near Fort Adams, your boat will head south to see Hammersmith Farm, Castle Hill, Beavertail Lighthouse, and more before turning north once again to sail by Hull Cove, Rose Island Lighthouse, and the Jamestown coastline. Feel the thrill of friendly competition during this unique private racing experience. You and your guests will learn positions and practice tacks before racing under the guidance of our professional crew. Course highlights typically feature Hammersmith Farm, Castle Hill, Clingstone, and Newport Bridge. No prior sailing experience is required.
Circumnavigate Conanicut
SINGLE OR Multi-Boat Charter
Ideal For: Wedding Parties, Birthdays, Reunions, Yacht Club Events
During this nautical adventure, you and your guests are encouraged to help our professional crews with the sailing. Our weather-dependent course typically starts at the Clingstone buoy, heads toward Conanicut Point, and finishes at Clingstone. This longer course requires a 5-hour minimum charter and guarantees an unforgettable story.

Interested guests can participate in the sail under the guidance of our professional crew. Those who prefer to relax can sit back and enjoy the ride!
Our sails are appropriate for guests 5 and up. Children under 18 must be accompanied by an adult who has the authority to sign a safety waiver on their behalf.
We provide water and seltzer on our sails. You are welcome to bring your own food and drinks (except hard liquor and red wine, which are not allowed), or we are happy to connect you directly with one of our trusted catering partners to coordinate provisions for your guests.
Even in the height of the summer, temperatures on the water feel cooler thanks to the sea breeze. In spring and fall, especially, we suggest dressing in layers to prepare for cooler temperatures.
While our sails do require mobility while underway, we will do our best to accommodate any mobility limitations you or your guests may have. To ensure the best experience, please inquire with our Sails Coordinator to ensure this is an appropriate activity for all members of your party.
Be prepared for cooler water temperatures, especially in spring or fall. We recommend dressing in layers and wearing or bringing the following gear in a soft-sided bag that can be stored below deck:

Please note that the following are not allowed on sails: smoking, hard liquor, red wine, strollers, and pets.

Yes, all of our boats are equipped with a "head" (bathroom) facility, accessible throughout the sail. We recommend using the bathroom onshore prior to boarding.
Our charters sail rain or shine and will only be canceled if the Captain deems the conditions unsafe. Unsafe sailing conditions may include extreme winds, thunder and lightning, or a torrential downpour. In the unlikely event of a canceled sail due to hazardous conditions, you will be offered a rescheduled date or a full refund.
