Big Win for Classic Yachts

Congratulations to Dorade winning the Trans-Pacific race a second time…. 77 years after the first win.  Owners Matt Brooks and Pam Rorke Levy had Dorade beautifully restored and she is in winning form.  They recognize classic wooden racing yachts for their history, design and enduring  value - they sailed Weatherly  in 2011 for the 12 Meter North Americans.  Congrats to Matt and Pam!  For more information http://www.nytimes.com/2013/07/26/sports/77-years-later-yacht-repeats-win-in-transpacific-race.html?pagewanted=all&_r=0
