What People Are Saying

"It was a pleasure working with you to make this incredible event happen, we certainly could not have done it with out you and your fantastic teammates."

Our Twelve Meter yachts are docked at the marina at the Newport Harbor Hotel and Marina, located at 49 America's Cup Avenue, Newport RI. It's directly across from Trinity Church and just north of Bannister's Wharf in the heart of downtown Newport, a two-block walk from the public parking lot at the Visitor's Center. The yachts will be docked on the main pier; please go past the hotel's Salt Grille restaurant and around the rear of the building to get to the waterfront. Please be on the dock 30 minutes prior to your scheduled departure.

For Parking: We suggest using the Visitor's Center lot, it's easy and inexpensive. There are several other public/private lots throughout downtown Newport within walking distance to the Newport Harbor Hotel and Marina.

From New York, New Jersey, Connecticut and Points South and West:

Take Interstate 95 North to Route 138 East – Exit 3 around Hope Valley, RI. Continue on Route 138 for about 30 minutes to Newport Bridge ($4.00 toll). Take first exit off Newport Bridge ("Scenic Newport"), turn right off exit ramp and drive straight through 1st set of traffic lights. At 2nd set of lights turn right onto America's Cup Avenue. Public parking is available at the Visitor's Center about 100 yards on the right.

From Boston, Cape Cod, Massachusetts and Points North East:

Leave Boston on either Rt 128 South or 93 South and get onto Route 24 South (left exit from 93 South). Continue on Rt 24 South to Fall River (if you are coming from Cape Cod, take Rt 195 West into Fall River to Rt 24 South). Follow signs to Newport staying on Rt 24 South. After you go over the bridge, take the exit onto 138 South ("Newport Beaches"). Go right at end of ramp, following road south and bear right at stoplight (see Bank of Newport and CVS at this corner).

Follow 138 South about 10 miles. Just after passing Newport Vineyards, you'll come to double stop light intersection (see Fleet and Dunkin' Donuts on the right), and the sign for "Newport Beaches". Take this left at the light onto Aquidneck Avenue and follow this road all the way through Middletown and into Newport. Follow signs toward the beaches. At Flo's Clam Shack, bear right past Easton's Beach (on your left) and up the hill to Memorial Boulevard and the center of downtown. There are several parking options on Spring Street and America's Cup Avenue. To get to the Visitor's Center, follow Memorial Boulevard down the hill into town and bear right onto America's Cup Avenue. Go left at the fourth light and into the parking lot.
