Congratulations to Weatherly and Intrepid!!

Congratulations are due to America's Cup Charters Weatherly and Intrepid for their victorious weekend of racing. This past weekend (Aug. 8, 9th)  The Edgartown Yacht Club 12 Meter Regatta was held with Weatherly winning the Traditional Division and Intrepid winning the Modern Division.  Four races were run on Saturday with winds around 10 knots, Sunday's racers were meet with a little more wind for the last 3 races of the regatta.

Weatherly's Captain George Hill attributed the victory with Andrew Greene fielding  a great crew aboard Weatherly.  Good sail handling, the right decisions and helms man Bruce Huber all added up to an enjoyable and successful weekend of racing.  Onboard Intrepid, Captain Mike Patterson had Owner Jack Curtin on the helm with the returning  "Intrepid Allstars" calling tactics, strategy and working the sails.  The Edgartown Yacht Club did a great job running a successful regatta - good work!
